and of course, negatives &#8211; to Windows Phone. i love bullet points so here are my personal pros and cons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>the good:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>amazing contacts app that merges all data streams together<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">per-app notification settings [e.g. different sound] out-of-the-box<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">beautiful and smooth UI, especially live tiles<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">great battery life<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">daily Bing wallpaper out-of-the-box<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">excellent email experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">excellent calendar and tasks experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>the bad sorted from most painful to least [along with potential resolution]:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>no Snapchat app [quit Snapchat?]<\/li>\n<li>Messenger chatheads [no replacement]<\/li>\n<li>Netflix app does not support Chromecast [use a computer that does]<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.71429; font-size: 1rem;\">HBO GO [no replacement]<\/span><\/li>\n<li>no native Gmail app [would need to switch to <a href=\"http:\/\/outlook.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">outlook.com<\/a>\u00c2\u00a0for best experience with the native mail app]<\/li>\n<li>no Amazon Shopping app [use the mobile site]<\/li>\n<li>no Amazon Video [no replacement]<\/li>\n<li>no Youtube app [buy tubecast pro for $3]<\/li>\n<li>no Google Keep [switch to Wunderlist or Evernote]<\/li>\n<li>no Google Music [switch to Spotify]<\/li>\n<li>no Google Maps [switch to Waze]<\/li>\n<li>no Venmo [use <a href=\"http:\/\/pay.mo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">pay.mo<\/a>]<\/li>\n<li>notifications in the action center do not disappear even after you&#8217;ve launched the app and handled them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>the list of bad is doable but aggravating nonetheless. i am getting an Amazon Fire tablet which would in theory allow me to handle the missing app and functionality were i to have a Windows Phone. that said, i really wish these apps were just on Windows Phone. i&#8217;d actually switch away from Android back to Windows Phone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>i recently got a OnePlus 3 and it broke not even a week into its use. the phone is amazing: lightweight and blazing fast. the screen (color and resolution) and the speakers could be better but it&#8217;s a flagship-level phone for $400 so i can&#8217;t complain too much. plus, the alert slider is wicked awesome. &hellip;
